1.Principle of COD analyzer
COD Analyzer uses potassium dichromate digestion at high temperature to measure continuous online chemical oxygen demand (COD).A quantitative amount of potassium dichromate solution is added to the sample. In a strong acidic medium, silver sulfate is used as a catalyst. The chloride ion concentration is reduced by a unique dilution injection technique, and a combined masking agent is used to mask high-concentration chloride ions. After high-temperature and high-pressure digestion, the COD concentration value is determined by spectrophotometry.
