Climate change and agricultural development have led to an increasing demand for agrometeorological observations. Now, however, our network of observatories leaves much to be desired in terms of covering critical food areas, setting reasonable observation tasks, and improving the frequency and accuracy of observations. To better support modern agriculture and disaster prevention and mitigation, we need to upgrade these observatories to make them more accurate and effective in helping farmers.
The Facility Agro-Meteorological Station is a multi-functional monitoring system capable of integrating up to eight types of meteorological sensors and two types of soil sensors to meet different monitoring needs. It is capable of monitoring a number of key environmental parameters including wind speed, wind direction, light intensity, carbon dioxide concentration, air temperature, air humidity, soil temperature, soil humidity, rainfall, rain and snow conditions.
The weather station has excellent environmental adaptability and is equipped with solar and wind power generation systems to ensure long-term stable operation in outdoor environments. It is also equipped with a battery that maintains a battery life of more than 7 days in the absence of sunlight and remains on standby even during continuous rainy weather.
Designed with user convenience in mind, it can independently complete environmental data monitoring and collection tasks in agricultural parks without complicated wiring or special maintenance. The collected data can be uploaded to the smart agriculture cloud platform in real time, and users can view these data at any time via mobile phone APP, PC or outdoor LED display.
As an important tool for agro-meteorological environment monitoring, the weather station plays a key role in guiding farmers in their farming activities and promoting the development of facility-based agriculture. It provides farmers with real-time and accurate environmental information to help them make more scientific decisions, thus improving agricultural productivity and crop yields.
