1.Tailings Monitoring Background
Tailings Monitoring is an important technical parameter to judge the wetting line, reservoir level monitoring, deformation monitoring, precipitation monitoring and so on.Tailings ponds are an important part of non-coal mine safety production and one of the major sources of danger in this field. Once an accident occurs, it will cause huge losses to the lives and property safety of people downstream, cause serious pollution to the local environment, and have a serious negative impact on local economic development and social stability. Therefore, the State Administration of Work Safety issued the "Notice on Doing a Good Job in the Installation of Online Monitoring Systems for Tailings Ponds" in 2013, requiring that all third-class and above tailings ponds establish online monitoring systems by the end of 2013. Fourth-class tailings ponds are encouraged to install online monitoring systems.
2. Tailings Monitoring System Overview
Our tailings pond online monitoring system uses sensor technology, signal transmission technology, network technology and software technology to monitor key technical indicators that affect the safety of tailings ponds and dams from a comprehensive perspective of macro and micro, record historical and existing data, and analyze future trends in order to assist enterprises and governments in making decisions, improve the safety level of tailings ponds, and effectively prevent and curb major accidents. The system relies on an intelligent software system to establish an analysis and early warning model, and integrates it with the SMS platform. When an abnormality occurs, it automatically sends a short message to the mine management personnel in a timely manner to start the corresponding plan as soon as possible.
