Agricultural drones increase productivity

With technological development, more and more farmers are adopting mechanised farming to improve productivity. Large farms, in particular, are actively embracing modernisation and information technology, seeking to improve the quality and sustainability of agriculture through high technology. These changes not only help to improve yields, but are also key to ensuring national food security and promoting sustainable agricultural development.

The application of remote sensing technology in agriculture, through drones and satellites, provides a new perspective on farm management. Drones, because of their flexibility and low cost, are able to quickly cover farmland for real-time monitoring, while remote sensing technology makes this monitoring data more accurate, helping farmers to better understand crop growth. The application of this technology not only improves the efficiency of agricultural production, but also helps to reduce the use of chemical fertilisers and pesticides, cope with the strain on land and water resources, and protect the environment.

Agricultural drones have become an important tool for monitoring farmland internationally, and they have helped farmers get a faster and more accurate picture of their crops, contributing to the efficiency and modernisation of agriculture.

In recent years, Chinese agriculture has begun to adopt drone technology, which has led to advances in agricultural insurance, pesticide spraying and monitoring. Currently, China is enhancing its monitoring system with low-altitude drones to improve the lack of real-time monitoring in agriculture. This will help farmers better manage their farmland and increase productivity.

Drone seeding technology has already demonstrated its efficiency when planting key crops such as wheat and oilseed rape. Compared to traditional seeders, drones can save time and labour, reducing reliance on agricultural machinery and manpower. They ensure even seed distribution through precise course control, improving the accuracy of sowing.

This technology makes the seeding process more cost-effective, with each drone able to cover 300 to 400 acres of land per day, greatly increasing the rate of agricultural operations. The application of drones not only simplifies the seeding process, but also paves the way for precision and technological management of agriculture.
