Hydrological monitoring equipment integrates the Internet of Things, the Internet and intelligent perception and other technologies to build a comprehensive and advanced monitoring system. This system utilises online collection terminals to capture river hydrological data in real time. These data are processed through an intelligent control box and then quickly uploaded to the cloud platform - the "brain" of the whole system. The cloud platform is responsible for integrating and analysing these data, transforming them into intuitive numerical indicators and providing strong decision-making support for river management. The application of this system greatly promotes the informatisation process of flood control work, significantly enhances the effectiveness of flood control decision-making and command, and provides a solid technical guarantee for safeguarding people's lives and properties and promoting sustainable development.
The system is equipped with an automatic alarm function, which triggers the alarm mechanism based on a variety of events, including water level exceeding the preset upper and lower limits, and abnormal status of constituent equipment. System managers can set specific alarm conditions in advance on the cloud platform. Once these conditions are triggered, the system will send alarm notifications to the responsible person through multiple channels, including on-site sound and light alarms, remote sending of SMS, making phone calls, and pushing WeChat notifications, etc., to ensure that the relevant responsible person can obtain the alarm information in a timely manner and take prompt countermeasures. This function greatly improves the response speed and disposal efficiency of small and medium-sized river flood control.
