As a result of the uneven development of rodent eradication efforts, the problem of rodent infestation in farmland is serious in some areas, and the task of rodent prevention and control has become very urgent and difficult. At present, rat pest management still faces many challenges that need to be solved.


Compared with traditional methods, modern AI, cloud computing and IoT technologies can help better monitor and control rodent pests. These technologies can collect data, analyse images, intelligently identify rats, and wirelessly transmit information in real time. They not only make monitoring more intuitive and accurate, but also provide effective prevention and control strategies based on large amounts of data.


The intelligent cyclic baiting and control device for rodent situation makes use of IoT technology to form a new type of intelligent monitoring by recording and displaying real-time images of rodent activities, activity patterns, environmental information and geographic location through the device terminals.


The system consists of the following parts:


Intelligent monitoring hardware: responsible for collecting rat activity and environmental data.


Wireless sensor transmission system: transmits the collected data in real time via 3G/4G/5G network.


Data management system: manages and analyses the transmitted data.


The whole system realises the intelligence of the whole process from data collection to processing to analysis, which improves the efficiency and accuracy of rodent pest monitoring.


When a rat enters the monitoring box, the sensor will detect and activate the camera to shoot video.


The captured video data will be pre-processed by the intelligent hardware system and then sent to the data analysis platform in the background via wireless network.


On the data analysis platform, the system will use big data technology to conduct in-depth analysis of the video, including identifying the image of the rat, classifying it, and calculating some biological characteristics of the rat.
